Butcher's shop
The young and active butcher Panagiotis supplies the island with fresh meat. He gets goat and sheep directly from the herds of his father. He refers cattle and chicken from Samos, Naxos and Ikaria.

Maria Chrisoula Pirovolikou first ran a small shop together with her sister. Then the supermarket was offered and she took it over. Now she commutes between both shops.

Bakery
By now there are two bakeries on Fourni island. The one at the Platia is the older and traditional one. At 9 a.m. you get the first bread of the day.

You can exchange travellers' cheques wherever you are on this globe. But not in Fourni's post office. You do get stamps, however.

Hairdresser
Regrettably Kostas Spanos succumbed in april 2004 suddanly to a heart disease.
In the meantime Maria Amorianou inherited the barbershop. Maria learned her trade in Pirea and she approaches the regular customers of Kostas as well as the youth.
The price for an excellent haircut did not change. A man's haircut still costs 8 €.
